At the mounting point, the stock bars and Helibars are very similar.
Clear color photos as part of the instructions are a big help...makes installation idiot proof.
Biggest difference in the looks is the extreme downward angel of the stock bars. Almost excessive which makes the bike more uncomfortable than needed on the street.
Photo shows the difference in the angle of the two bars.
Bars are similar in appearance.
Heli Bars on top, stock bars mounted on the bike.
Stock bars are on top, Helibars on bottom.
The angle difference is shown in this photo.
This slight difference in angle has a dramatic effect in riding position and comfort.
WIth Helibars mounted, bike still looks track ready.
Another illustration of the angle difference.
Most people will not notice the difference. The mounting point is very close which makes all the parts fit just like stock. These are the Heli Bars.
Completed installation. On its own, the angle difference is not so noticeable - if next to another bike, it may be more obvious. Improved bar position has no disadvantages noted as of yet.
Helibars at bar ends are 2 inches a higher.
